So… a lot has happened since I last sent out a newsletter. We finally got internet at our house today. We are all excited. One interesting thing though…I haven’t seen my housemates in hours. Haha. Hopefully the novelty will wear off soon. J

So, I’m going to Holland!! Whoo. We are leaving on Monday around one in the morning. We’re driving down south then taking a ferry. There’s this leadership conference there for 5 days. My base leader is in charge of it so we get to go to help out and attend the sessions. We are all quite excited and looking forward to seeing what God says to us about the future while we’re there. After that we’re taking the ferry back to England and driving over to the west coast to work with about 500 kids at this family Christian Camp for 2 weeks (school is out for 2 weeks for Easter).

Things are going good here. I feel like God is really opening doors for me to start exploring the prostitution/ sex-slave trade stuff I’m interested in. In July I have an opportunity to take part of the DTS to Amsterdam for 2 weeks. I’m so excited!! We will hopefully be able to do a drop in centre for the women involved in prostitution and I’m really hoping that we’ll be able to talk to the tourists who go to Holland to have prostitutes.

Over Easter I went to visit my friends who live in and near London. One thing that really struck me at church was that “God does what He says He’ll do.” A lady at her church was encouraging us to remember what God has told us personally that He said He’d do and to remember that He will do what He says.

So some random news now: I keep slipping while walking down the road because I wear dressy boots sometimes and it’s wet here so I keep slipping and scraping my knee. So I’m feeling quite lady like at the moment. Haha. It’s so cold here that I sleep with two big comforters, sweat pants, a sweat shirt and socks. If I don’t wear socks I’m too cold to sleep. I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever have a reason to shave my legs again. J

So we’re thinking on going on outreach to this place in Asia but we can’t put the name down outright. I’ll bet you can guess. I’ll give you some hints. If you don’t get it you can ask my family. So it’s a pretty big country. It’s going to be in the spotlight a lot this year. One more…a lot of things are made there. J

I have a couple of prayer requests if you remember me in your prayers. I still need some more money to be able to get by monthly, about 100 dollars a month. Also if you could pray that God continuously reveals to me more about future steps. One more thing, pray for protection as we travel. Thanks!!
